new device has been announced by HTC. The phone is called HTC Desire XDS and it’s meant to meet the needs of those who want a dual SIM handset, but it also sports Beat Audio. In fact this is not the first phone of this sort launched by HTC as the company has released a similar model in China, but being dubbed T329W. The HTC Desire XDS will be available in the Indian market.
phone will be for the customers, but with a good marketing strategy it could do pretty well, especially because not all the people in India can afford a flagship device, so they have to opt for a cheaper one. HTC has recently announced another budget friendly smartphone called the HTC Desire U.
The device is a mid-range smartphone and sports a 4-inch capacitive display and it’s powered by a dual-core CPU clocked at 1GHz. The phone will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4 UI on top. As I said, the handset will have support for two SIMs, and it will boast a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and autofocus. When it comes to connectivity, the HTC Desire XDS features FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Beats Audio Support, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / aGPS. There is nothing much to say about the specs except for the fact that it has 768 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card, and a 1650 mAh battery.
As for the availability details, the HTC Desire XDS will be available online as well as at retail stores at a price of Rs. 16,089.
