Left 4 Dead 3 Countdown Site Appears: Rumor
Did Valve just start a countdown for Left 4 Dead 3?. Our friend at StickSkills have come across a suspicious looking URL featuring a countdown clock for yet to be officially announced game "Left 4 Dead 3".
Now going by the details in the source code of this suspicious URL, there are indeed some similarities in terms of structure and file paths as compare to Valve's official website of Left 4 Dead.
But still this isn't a confirmation that this countdown site is develope by Valve. Just keep your finger cross and hope for the best.
We have contacted Valve for some official words of this, so stay tune will update this post as soon as we get to hear more from them.

GTA V PC Petition Passes 200,000 Signatures, Rockstar Still Silent
The petition demanding Rockstar Games to release GTA V for our beloved platform PC has crossed 200,00 signatures. Rockstar Games boss Dan Houser has already confirmed in the past the PC port of GTA V is up for consideration, however he hasn't mentioned anything about it since.
If Rockstar Games decides to continue their tradition, we will have to have a full eight months after the launch of GTA V on consoles to play PC version.
Furthermore, Rockstar Games (Leeds Branch) recently opened a job opening that hinted PC port of GTA V. The job listing reads:
"Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible."
Have anything to say or share with Rockstar Games on topic of GTA V for PC?. Let us know in the comment section below.

According to Take-Two, Agent takes players on a paranoid journey into the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations during the height of the Cold War at the end of the 1970s."

Hands-On With SCR Screen Recorder, The Only Screencasting Tool For Android That's Compatible With Tegra Devices
Since the dawn of time, owners of Tegra devices have wanted a way to natively capture video of what's happening on their screen. Unfortunately, none of the existing apps (including Screencast) were able to accomplish this goal – until now.
Say hello to the [somewhat] recently-released SCR Screen Recorder, an app that not only promises to capture screencasts of Tegra devices, but delivers on that promise beautifully. To put the app to the test, I not only gave it a run on my Nexus 7, but broke the Galaxy Tab 10.1 out of the vault to ensure Tegra 2 compatibility. To my surprise, it worked perfectly on both devices.
Like all other screencasting tools, SCR requires root access.
Despite working wonderfully on both of the devices I tried it on, SCR is currently listed as "beta," with the Play Store listing noting that it may not work on all devices and/or ROMs. The developer adds that you can report any issues you may have so he can work on adding support for your particular device.
There are both free and pro versions of the app, with the former limiting video recording to a maximum of three minutes and applying the SCR watermark to the recorded video. Naturally, the full version of the application removes all limitations, but it will set you back $6.
Minecraft Skin Studio Comes To Android In All Its Pixelated Glory
You can make almost anything in Minecraft, even people. If you want to design a new block-based being while on the go, there's the new Minecraft Skin Studio for Android. This app allows you to build a person pixel by pixel and upload it to your Minecraft game.
Minecraft Skin Studio isn't made by Mojang, the company behind Minecraft, However, it has talked up this app quite a bit, and it seems to be the premiere way to design Minecraft skins. There are already over 500,000 community-created skins available for download.
Note that the skins designed in this app are for use in the desktop version of Minecraft, not Pocket Edition or Xbox. It's $2.99, but that should be of no concern to a dedicated crafter.
Ziphius Smartphone-Controlled Aquatic Drone Gets Funded On Kickstarter With Two Days To Go
If you've ever wanted a Parrot AR Drone that feels more at home in the water than in the air, you'll want to check out the Ziphius Kickstarter campaign. This remote-controlled floating drone just passed its $125,000 goal with less than a day and a half remaining, and is scheduled to go into mass production later this year with backer units shipping in March 2014.
Ziphius is a floating drone, a Raspberry Pi control board, twin propellers, and a 1080p video camera with an LED flashlight, shoved into a lightweight waterproof chassis. It doesn't dive, but the camera sits on a 160-degree rotating axel that can be pointed both above and below the water. The 16GB of on-board storage on the standard model is not removable, but should allow for users to record quite a bit of video during the 1-hour battery life. According to the Kickstarter description, the drone can be controlled from an Android or iOS device via WiFi up to 300 feet away. In case you're wondering, Ziphius takes its name from the scientific designation for the goose-beaked whale.
Like the Sphero, the Ziphius team plans more than just a control app for their little gadget. In addition to the control and recording app, an API for augmented reality games is planned using the Unity 3D engine. Just remember that you phone or tablet probably isn't waterproof - it would be a shame for the drone to watch its owner's gadget (and means of control) sink to the bottom of the ocean in high-definition video.
Hardware backing starts at $199 for the light edition, which has only 4GB of storage and no LED flashlight. Full versions start at $225, with more expensive packages being offered up to $1,450 for a trip to meet the creators on the Azores islands. As usual with crowdfunded campaigns, remember that it's an investment, not a purchase - these things have a nasty habit of coming in very late and not as described.

Bitcasa Android App Updated To Version 2 With New UI, Recent Files, Pull To Refresh, And More
Bitcasa has had a hard time of it since launching on Android seven months ago. Thanks to a buggy app for its unlimited storage service, it's currently sitting at a 3.5-star rating in the Google Play Store - not good when you're up against juggernauts like Dropbox and Google Drive. Hopefully the completely revamped 2.0 update will fix that. In addition to the seemingly ubiquitous UI overhaul, stability and performance improvements are mentioned in the changelog.
The app was already commendably Holo-fied, but now it gets in on all the new bells and whistles of modern Android design: a side menu for top-level navigation, Gmail-style pull-to-refresh, and both light and dark themes. The most important addition is a "recents" section of the home screen - you can choose between recently uploaded files (handy for moving things between devices quickly) or recently viewed ones. Version 2.0 also includes the ability to set a passcode for app access.
The service still displays photos in a gallery and streams music and video in its own mini-player, though these seem to be just as basic as they used to be (if a bit more pretty). Early reviews of the new version of the app are positive. Naturally you'll need a Bitcasa account to use the app - a generous 10GB of storage is free, with unlimited storage for $100 a year or $10 a month. The app is compatible with devices running Android 2.3 or higher.
Israel’s largest newspaper gets a Windows Phone app
Windows Phone only recently supported RTL languages, meaning its penetration in middle-eastern countries is pretty low.
It is therefore good to see the OS gaining some traction and support, with Israel’s largest newspaper, Ynet from Yedioth, releasing a Windows Phone app.
The app is of course Windows Phone 8-only (due to the RTL issue), but is free and can be found in the Windows Phone Store here.
Thanks Yarin for the tip.
Sony Honami ‘C6906′ reveal Sony’s next Android flagship
Whilst it may be currently in the process of launching yet another flagship Android phone in the form of the huge Xperia Z Ultra, Sony still has eyes on the future and something even better. We already know that a phone with a 20 megapixel camera is in the works, dubbed the ‘Honami’ or ‘Xperia i1’.
Although the public launch of the phone is likely to still be a way off, we’ve received some candid snaps showing what the Sony Honami will look like in the flesh. The tipster who submitted the images wishes to remain anonymous, but we’ve reason to believe that the phone pictured is a prototype of Sony’s next flagship phone.
From the images we can tell that Sony will continue to use the same design aspects as in its recent models. The phone looks to be very slim and sports the same squared edges and corners, plus pop-up flaps to cover all card ports and sockets – minus the headphone jack, which is exposed. Again Sony is effectively wedging the latest mobile technology between two sheets of glass, front and back.
A physical camera button joins Sony’s now familiar round silver power key on the right edge of the phone, which will complement the 20 megapixel camera on the back. There also looks to be a large speaker underneath a grille on the bottom edge of the phone, but other than these two changes the phone is very similar design-wise to the Xperia Z and Z Ultra.
For now these images are all we have to go on, but we’re hoping to find out more. Our tipster wasn’t able to confirm whether the rear camera is indeed a 20 megapixel sensor, noting that the camera software is far from final and the resolution settings were missing!

iPhone 5S, iPhone Lite and iPad 5 all expected to launch sometime in September, analyst says
Here's the thing with analysts and their analyses – you either despise them, or you don't. What do they know, right? And that's fair, given how often they're way off. But this time it's slightly different – KGISecurities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has issued a research note to clients that has fallen into the hands of AppleInsider, giving a rather complete forecast on what wares we can expect to come from Cupertino by the end of the year. Why is it slightly different? Well, Kuo actually has a rather 'stellar' (as stellar as it can get when it comes to making predictions) track record and most rumors actually support his call.
Kuo reinforces this notion, claiming that Apple is struggling with the production of “numerous components”, resulting in a delay for the iPhone 5S' launch, pegged for the end of September:
The tech giant's flagship isn't the only one having a rough time, though. The iPhone Lite is also experiencing production difficulties, albeit less severe, and is expected to launch at the beginning of September. The analyst sees the plasticky (as far as we know) model attacking the market with a price tag between $450 and $550.
Apple's troubles don't end here, though, for according to Kuo, the iPad mini 2 will be pushed all the way to March or April next year. Ours and the analyst's intel seem to converge on this one, for Retina panels combined with the smaller 7.9-inch factor have proven a tough nut to crack for Cupertino. AppleInsider also notes that, according to the research note, a possible, cheaper iPad Mini running an older A5 processor could see the light of day in December, with next year being a more secure bet.
The iPad maker must feel that the competitors are upping the ante, for its efforts in the category do not stop here. According to Kuo, a redesigned 9.7-inch version will serve as the “highlight of iPad in 2013”. Did the rumor mill from way back in January actually have it right all along?

"While shipments forecasts may still grow sharply in 4Q13, we are concerned iPhone 5S may face the same problem as its predecessor, namely that by the time supply matures, demand will already have waned, hurting shipments”

How to Patch the Latest Android "Master Key" Bugs on Your Samsung Galaxy S3
A few weeks ago, Bluebox Security uncovered a bug that could potentially effect 99% of Android devices. Bug 8219321, dubbed the Master Key bug, works by allowing applications with modified code to pass Android's signature verification system, thereby bypassing security measures that normally wouldn't allow these apps to be installed.
How does this effect you? Well, modified apps can cause a lot of havoc on your Samsung Galaxy S3, the biggest concern being the availability to send out all of the information stored on your device. That means your contacts, messages, emails, passwords, and more can be accessed by the maliciously minded.
Literally days after the discovery of the Master Key bug, a Chinese firm called Android Security Squad discovered a similar exploit—Bug 9695860. While taking a different approach, the effects of this vulnerability are virtually the same as the Master Key bug.
Now that you know the danger, let's eliminate it!
Step 1: Make Sure You're Rooted
You cannot patch these bugs unless you're rooted,
Step 2: Make Sure Unknown Sources Is Checked
make sure to enabled Unknown sources by going to Menu ->Settings -> Security.
Step 3: Install the Xposed Framework
- Download and install the Xposed Framework APK onto your device.
- Open up the app and select Install/Update to ensure you're on the latest version.
- Reboot your device.
Step 4: Install Master Key Dual Fix
App developer tungstwenty created Master Key Dual Fix to simply and easily patch these two potentially dangerous bugs. Now that you have the Xposed Framework installed and up to date, just download Master Key Dual Fix from Google Play and install like any other app.
While accessible through your app list, this is a module that only works in conjunction with the Xposed Framework.
Step 5: Activate the Module
Once you install the patch, you'll notice an extra notification in your Notification tray.
Go ahead and tap on the "Xposed module is not activated yet" notification and it'll launch into Xposed Framework. From there, tap the Modules tab and check the box next to "Master key dual fix."
Step 6: Reboot Your Device
Unlike other Xposed modules, there are no settings to mess with. Once you've checked the module, you simply need to reboot for the patches to take effect.
Step 7: Verify the Bugs Were Patched
After you've rebooted, head back to Xposed Framework (either through your app drawer or Settings), select the Master Key module, and make sure it states that you're safe. Look for the green text.
That's all there is to it! If you have any issues or questions, post away in the comments below.
