Rockstar slashes Grand Theft Auto and Max Payne prices for Android & iOS

If you were the type of kid that loved video games (we sure did!), then the name Rockstar should ring some serious bells with you. A little over a decade ago, the aforementioned video game developer bought into a franchise called Grand Theft Auto, and under its touch turned it into one of the most successful gamefranchises in video game history.

The transition from 2D to 3D changed everything for GTA and its fans, and it is one of the most loved series out there, even today. That is why when the game first came to mobile devices there was a palpable excitement in the air – the cornerstone of the genre was ported into your pocket. With this in mind, we didn't think twice about informing you ASAP that as of today, several versions of Rockstar's GTA have gone on sale, along with another hit – Max Payne. You have until the end of the month (July 30) to get your hands on these classics at a reduced price:

  • Grand Theft Auto III — $4.99 → $2.99
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — $4.99 → $2.99
