Conference Calleague

Are you a business user who takes part in a lot of conference calls? Then Conference Calleague might be perfect for you!
Conference Calleague parses your calendar appointments to extract phone call meeting details and help you dial into the conference call. You can even set up custom filters to help it identify your room # and a passcode, which can all be automatically dialed for you. And if you have any other extra numbers it needs to dial, you can have it punch those in within 0, 3, 6, or 9 seconds.
You could even use the app to help you automatically connect to tech support lines (have it “press 1 for English”), etc. But the app is definitely aimed at business users who make conference calls.
The app also has a nice-looking live tile that displays your next calendar call appointment. And you can pin call profiles to the Start Screen too.
There are a few negatives about the app. Primarily, the interface is clunky and not well designed. When you click the save button on a call filter or call profile, it doesn’t even navigate back. It stays on the edit page, giving you the impression that the save didn’t work. Also, calling a call profile is randomly difficult… you have to tap-and-hold the profile to make the call. And viewing details of a calendar appointment is also hidden behind another tap-and-hold. Finally, double-tapping a calendar appointment to set up a call filter often never works, and requires you to try double-tapping multiple times.
Also, the design of the app doesn’t follow Windows Phone design principles. The page titles aren’t all in uppercase (and the main title includes the version number for some reason). Pivot headers in the call filter page aren’t all lowercase. And the system tray doesn’t match the white background like it should.
But overall, Conference Calleague contains all the necessary functionality, and most importantly it works! It may not be beautiful or well-designed, but these flaws can always be improved.
