Rayman’s gameplay is perfectly designed. The coins in levels are intelligently placed such that they typically guide you through the correct path, allowing you to enjoy playing through levels for the first time. Each level has a great amount of variety with plenty of different obstacles. The game is also challenging enough that you have to replay most levels to beat them perfectly.

Presentation: 5/5

The visuals look great and the animations are extremely fluid. The soundtracks in the game are fun and fit well. The only minor complaint is that the soundtracks can be repetitive since there’s only about 4 different songs.

Lasting Value: 4/5

Rayman can be completed in about 2 hours or less, but the game gives you incentives to replay levels and get perfect scores on them. If you get five perfect scores in a level pack, you unlock an extra level which adds to the lasting value!
