Intel roadmap leaked

At Computex just Haswell released shortly after the foreign media VR-ZONE through their sources to an Intel 2013 to 2014 product roadmap leaked roadmap from the point of view, Intel's Haswell in 2013 after the release, not 14nm in 2014 launched the "Broadwell" processors.
For years Intel has been in accordance with its "Tick-Tock" development pace steady progress, updated every two years, chip manufacturing process, resulting in the unit to integrate more transistors on a silicon wafer, namely a "Tick", the next year, Intel will update the entire micro- architecture, namely a "Tock".
Intel launched in early 2011 "Sandy Bridge" microarchitecture, using 32-nanometer manufacturing process, in April 2012, Intel introduced the "Ivy Bridge" processors, the development of the manufacturing process from 32nm to 22nm, while Haswell processor The same 22-nanometer manufacturing process, so in accordance with Intel's development model, it should be brought in next year's 14-nanometer manufacturing process processor "Broadwell".
But unfortunately "Broadwell" bounced, as to the reasons for bounced checks, some analysts said Intel's 14nm process is not a smooth progress to next year simply can not meet the needs of mass production, but that argument seems difficult to stand our ground. The VR-ZONE that Intel processors slow pace of updates, whether it is in order to better cater to consumers. For the vast majority of consumers who do not necessarily recognize this frequent upgrade strategy, while currently in the PC market and no other chip makers to compete with Intel, the update frequency is reduced also makes sense.

But does not update the "Broadwell" does not mean that Intel does not update the product in 2014, according to the leaked roadmap, Intel will update 9 in 2014 chipset "Haswell Refresh". But in addition to nine the chipset for this "Haswell Refresh" we do not know anything about, insiders speculated, "Haswell Refresh" will likely adopt 14nm designs.
These speculations are premature, Haswell will only be released, due to the overall performance and power consumption of the upgrade, there are already a lot of users expect equipped Haswell processors soon. Earlier today, the domestic electricity providers have begun scheduled Haswell desktop products, while at Computex posted on the super pole, the fastest at the end will come.
