6Sec app now in Windows Phone Store

6Sec app now in Windows Phone Store, allows users to upload to Vinewe told you about an app that was heading to the Windows Phone Store called 6Sec. The app allows you to upload 6 second videos to Vine, search hashtags, channels and trending posts and share Vines to Twitter and Facebook. The app is a free download but requires an in-app upgrade to be able to upload videos. The reason for the payment is to help defray the cost of running the expensive server that encodes the videos and makes them compatible with Vines.

The 6Sec app is the latest workaround created for the Windows Phone Store to replace a popular app that so far has not been developed for the Windows Phone platform. With no official Instagram app for the platform, quite a few third party apps have sprung up. Instance is considered to be among the best of the lot, and is working on a way to allow Windows Phone 8 users to upload videos to Instagram. Right now, WPGram allows users to view Instagram videos along with still pictures, but will not allow you to upload videos to the Instagram site.
