the side profile of the Motorola Moto X

We've seen the Motorola Moto X pictured from many different angles and now we have a photo in a new tweet from @evleaks that shows the side profile of the unit. Motorola will be introducing the phone on August 1st in New York City and while the customization of the phone has been themain selling point of the model so far, no less than Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside has intrigued us with his talk about sensors on the handset that will know at times where the phone is, and make adjustments accordingly.

According to Woodside, the Motorola Moto X will know if it is in a car moving 60mph and will automatically turn on the speakerphone. We've also seen the video from Canadian carrier Rogers showing how a twist of the wrist opens the camera application. A tweet from Motorola itselfhinted at a fast shutter speed for the camera that will help users take pictures of action shots.

All of these features will be necessary to help the phone stay afloat in a sea of high end models like theSamsung Galaxy S4Sony Xperia ZHTC One and the upcoming LG G2

We can expect to see some more information about the phone leak as we get closer to August 1st.
