The soon-to-be-launched Xiaomi Mi3 has been caught at GFXBench benchmark from where we get to see how it compares with competition, including the Samsung Galaxy S4and HTC One, as well as some other devices such as the NVIDIA Shield and HP Slatebook 10 X2 tablet.
Unsurprisingly, the built-in Tegra 4 processor makes the Mi3 one of the most powerful devices on the list. In fact, NVIDIA’s chip is used in the fastest products on the list, as you can see for yourself from the image above.
The sad news is that Xiaomi’s phones tend to be sold only in China and perhaps few other surrounding markets. That, however, doesn’t mean we won’t get to see Tegra 4-powered smartphones — it’s just that we’ll have to wait a little longer. Or not; I would guess first products relying on NVIDIA’s new-gen chip will be unveiled in the fourth quarter of the year, ready to compete with Snapdragon 800-powered devices. Can’t wait to try them out.
