Not for Sammy. And if you think about it, the South Korean giant is probably one of few smartphone manufacturers who can allow themselves the luxury of experimenting with different ideas.
So, welcome the Samsung Hennesy, a dual 3.3-inch screened phone running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Or so the intel hailing from Chinese Blog of Mobile claims. Among the rest of the specs that we know so far are the alleged 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a gig of RAM and a frugal 1GB of internal space. While a front-facing camera has been omitted, on the rear resides a 5MP CMOS shooter, or so we're told. The real disappointment comes from the low resolution on both of the screens – at 320x480 it's a kind of a let down for an otherwise decent, if odd, device.
Such a unique device couldn't have possibly not rang a bell, though. We're immediately reminded of theSamsung SCH-W999 from a few years ago. The Samsung Hennessy is, quite possibly, the successor of the SCH-W999, which could mean that availability will probably be limited to China and South Korea.
