The Nokia EOS is expected to be introducedat Nokia's next press event on July 11th in New York City. Last month, we told you thatthe EOS could end up coming to market as the Nokia Lumia 1020. With that in mind, @evleaks posted a render of the device, which from the front has the typical look of a Nokia Lumia handset. The unit would take the Lumia range into the four digit territory, surpassing the Nokia Lumia 928now at Verizon.
The render of the Nokia Lumia 1020 or EOS, gives away another clue. Looking at the phone, you can see that the Nokia Pro Camera app will be available. This app will allow you to control every camera setting manually. And while we can't see it from this render, we shouldn't leave out the piece de resistance for this device, the 41MP camera sensor on the back of the phone.
The Nokia EOS or Nokia Lumia 1020 has been rumored to be coming for so long, it is hard to believe that it actually just a week away from finally being unveiled. The Nokia EOS/Lumia 1020 will be going up against competition from the unannounced Sony i1 Honami and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. Sony's model isrumored to be introduced today in Paris, featuring a 20/13MP rear facing snapper with an Exmor RS sensor, G Lens, Cybershot, dual LED and Xenon flash, Mobile BIONZ Image processing and interchangeable lens. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom offers a 16MP camera with a 10X optical lens and Optical ImageStabilization.
