The firm has developed a mobile interaction system which, according to it, works on all types of mobile phones. It allows users to obtain apps with the firm's cloud-based system that requires no downloads and uses the text-based Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), similar to the Short Message Service (SMS), according to a Xinhua report.
However, the apps will be seen in black and white only. As per a report of The Day After, the USSD system does not allow access to the internet, but rather it uses the API (Application Programming Interfaces) from pages like Facebook, Gmail, and the like.
Since a majority of mobile phone users in India have simple phones without internet access, such a system would be of great help but their is no clarity when the service will be made abvailabel in the country .
Currently, the firm provides solutions for Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Wikipedia, an Instant Messaging service.
