Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Price Still Missing, Despite Leaks

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has leaked out again ahead of its arrival though the latest leak, a set of benchmarks that confirm its processor, doesn’t confirm the device’s biggest draw: Its price.
For several months now, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has emerged as a complimentary device to the largest, very official Samsung Galaxy S4. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen numerous specifications emerge and we’ve even seen what is thought to be the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini itself emerge on camera for the world to see.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to launch in late June.

Leaked specifications have pointed to a 4.3-inch qHD display, which means less than HD resolution, an 8MP camera, and Samsung TouchWiz 2.0 running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It also appears to have a design that features a removable back for an extended battery and it should also come with a microSD card slot for expanded storage.
New alleged Galaxy S4 Mini benchmarks, discovered AllAboutSamsung, suggest the same and also point to a Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor on board, rather than one of the Exynos variety. It’s unclear why Samsung may have shifted away from a Exynos processor but it appears that the Snapdragon 400, the same processor found in the Galaxy Mega 6.3.
Here’s how it all breaks down:
  • 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 540 Resolution
  • 8MP Rear Camera
  • 2.1MP Front-Facing Camera
  • 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 Processor
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0
Samsung is rumored to be announcing the Galaxy S4 Mini on June 20th, with an arrival heavily rumored for the month of July. AT&T was originally thought to be a potential carrier though, more recently, that isn’t as clear.
While the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini features, launch date and release date have emerged, the biggest draw to the Galaxy S4 Mini remains unknown. That of course is the price.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini could arrive alongside several other devices.

With phones like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X on sale for cheap these days, a phone like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini with its low-resolution display, is going to have to sport an extremely competitive price tag in order to compete.
The price, which is going to be its biggest draw, unfortunately remains unknown though it would be a tough sell if Samsung and its carriers offered it for anything over $100 on contract.
