Blu Products, a US-based handset company, will be entering the Indian smartphone market next month.
Their smartphones will be made available to consumers through Android Guruz, which is a startup company formed recently to offer sales, services and replacement warranty, and even experience zones for most of the handsets from Chinese player.
A spokesperson of Android Guruz said to The Mobile Indian, "We will be launching Blu Products' smartphones in August through our stores and online retail portal in the price bracket of Rs 7,000 and Rs 15,000.”
As of now Android Guruz has opened one store in Delhi and has plans to launch another 200 stores across the country in the next 12 to 15 months.
The Blu smartphones that are likely to be made available in the country are Life View, Life One, Life Play, Touchbook 7.0 S S, Dash 4.5, and Dash Music.
Life View will be an Android Jelly Bean smartphone with 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 5.7 inch display screen, 12 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory and 2600 mAh battery.
Life One will have a 5 inch display screen, Android Jelly Bean Android OS, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, and 2000 mAh battery.
Life Play will have a 4.7 inch display screen, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory and 1800 mAh battery.
Touchbook will be a 7 inch tablet based on Jelly Bean OS and it will be powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor along with 4 GB of internal memory and 120 MB RAM.
Under the Dash series there will be two phones - Dash 4.5 and Dash Music. Both will run on Android Jelly Bean
