On the heels of Dropbox's Dropbox Platform unveiling, Yahoo! Mail for Android has updated on Tuesday with the ability to send files of any size while on the go via Dropbox attachments integration.
Yahoo initially collaborated with Dropbox in April as a way to make the email experience simpler for customers. On Yahoo! Mail for web, for instance, Dropbox's cloud-saving functionality for files effectively lifted Yahoo's 25MB attachment limit.
Now, in Yahoo Mail for Android, users can enjoy the same Dropbox attachements integration by starting a new email, tapping the attachment icon and choosing “Share from Dropbox.” If users don't have a Dropbox account, they can sign up from within the Yahoo Mail app.
There's no word on other mobile platforms, but Yahoo Mail for iOS just update with a new multiple accounts feature. In other words, iOS users can now add all their Yahoo accounts and easily switch between Inboxes with the app.
