The Samsung Galaxy Note III will indeed have a 1080 x 1920-pixel full HD screen, a feature that we would have been surprised not to see on the third-generation phablet. The confirmation this time comes straight from Samsung’s website.
The Korean company has published UA Prof files for models SM-N900T and SM-N900A, believed to be the referral numbers for the Galaxy Note III.
User Agent Profile (UA Prof) files are specification files that often describe the model, screensize and other features of the device before it goes official. Making such a file is not required, but usually when done it is done by the phone maker itself (in this case from Samsung), and is a near-official confirmation of a device.
You can see that the Galaxy Note III below is listed with a 1080 x 1920-pixel screen of unknown size and running on an ARM processor. Rumors vary on the actual screen size, but the latest word on the street is that it’d carry a slightly larger than before, 5.7” display.
Just yesterday, we heard that Samsung might be preparing a whole four different models of the Galaxy Note III, from a premium device with an AMOLED display to a more affordable variation made out of plastic and with an LCD screen.
