Konami ID Website Hacked

According to CVG, Konami has reported that 35,252 unauthorized log-ins happened on their Konami ID website. The company has discovered that there were about 4 million hacking attempts from June 13th to July 7th.
Customers on Konami ID include their names, phone numbers, birth date email addresses and home addresses. Luckily, Konami has stated that nothing was stolen from the costumers.
“No changes to customers’ personal information, or unauthorized usage of paid services, have been detected,” Konami said.
Konami has reassured the consumers that they have buffed up their security and apologized to everyone publicly who wast affected.
“Konami sincerely apologizes for the trouble this has caused to our valued customers… Konami has strengthened its security and raised its monitoring level, and measures have been taken to ensure that IDs and passwords involved in these unauthorized logins can no longer be used to log in.”
