Xbox One pre-owned games question answered?

Forza Motorsport 5
The Xbox One launched to significant fanfare, but one question everyone was asking was how Microsoft would tackle used-games. Some answers appear to have surfaced

Microsoft could have devised a way to take complete control over the Xbox One pre-owned system thanks to a requirement that all retailers join their Azure cloud-based network.
Both MCV and ConsoleDeals have received information from retail sources who have confirmed that any retail outlets such as Game will need to register with Microsoft's Azure pre-owned games system before they can start trading titles.
When a user is ready to trade in their game the retail store will take the disc and then using Azure, will remove that persons account from the disc, which will then remove the title from the users console within 24 hours.
This goes some way to explaining why Microsoft confirmed that all Xbox One consoles will need to connect to the internet at least once every 24 hours.
What is slightly more worrying however is the information that ConsoleDeals were given which suggests that the price for unlocking a pre-owned game will be £35 with only 10 per cent of that going to the retailers.
If this is true this will effectively wipe any advantage that retailers had in dealing pre-owned games dishing out a severe blow at the already suffering games retail industry.
It's important to note that these are just rumours at the moment and Microsoft has confirmed that they will be releasing more details on how pre-owned titles will work.
Finally it's worth pointing out that despite being the focus of these questions, Microsoft isn't alone with Sony being equally as quiet about how the PS4 will handle pre-owned games.
