At WDDC 2013, Apple unleashed their new, compact Mac Pro (8 times smaller than previous generation) as well as a refresh to their MacBook Air line up.
Mac Pro
Apple’s new Mac Pro is compact, beautiful and a powerful beast within. Apple claims that the new Mac Pro is 8 times smaller than the previous one, but hardly skimps on raw power. Featuring 6 all-new Thunderbolt 2 ports (Intel), dual GPUs from AMD and a 12-core (logical) processor, the new (beast) Mac Pro will debut this fall. The hardware inside? Here you go!

Pricing is yet to be revealed, but we strongly believe that it will be very high up north.
MacBook Air (2013)
Apple vice president Phil Shiller announced the revamped MacBook Air line up for 2013. Being largely indistinguishable from the 2012 models (that is because the design, the chassis is the same), the upgraded 11-inch and 13-inch Airs pack Intel’s newest Haswell microarchitecture based CPUs. This also means faster graphics (depends on the Haswell SKU, although Apple promises up to 40% faster graphics), improved power efficiency and of course, better battery life.
Sadly, all the new firepower won’t be used to drive higher resolution displays as the 11-inch model and 13-inch model carries forward the same 1280 x 800 and 1440 x 900 resolution panel from the 2012 models. This comes in as plain disappointing, especially after being spoiled at the (often) ridiculously high display resolution and pixel density that we became used to seeing at COMPUTEX 2013.
The 11.6-inch Air now promises up to 9 hours of battery life, while the 13.3-inch model promises a sweet 12-hour ride.
Apple announced that the shipping of the new MacBook Airs begins today, prices being $999 for the 11.6-inch and $1099 for the 13.3-inch model. Both Airs come equipped with 128 GB of SSD storage which can be upgraded to 256 GB for an extra $200.
