Josh Fortune HD ICS-based dual-core smartphone launched for Rs. 11,999

The Josh Fortune HD has a large 5.3-inch screen with 540 x 960 pixel resolution. It has a powerful 1.2GHz dual-core processor, with 1GB of RAM for faster processing. It comes with 2GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support.
The Fortune HD has an 8MP autofocus rear camera with flash and a 3MP front camera for video calling. It supports dual-SIM functionality and has a 2400mAh battery. The Fortune HD runs on the outdated Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, and that may be a drawback as most smartphones in the same price range come with Android Jelly Bean OS out of the box.
Deepak Gupta, Director, Josh Mobiles said on the launch, "Fortune HD is packed with exciting features and its high definition screen shall take you to the next level of viewing experience. The latest addition in the Fortune series on our 3rd anniversary strengths us further in the smartphone category".
The Fortune HD has been launched in the same price segment asMicromax A116 Canvas HD and Karbonn Titanium S5. The smartphone will face a tough competition as these mobiles have larger screens and come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
