Indian Android device maker Amtrak has launched My Class Buddy A 700 E tablet which comes with online study material access for the students in Rajasthan. The tablet offers complete Rajasthan State Board Hindi syllabus digital books in partnership with e-content provider Bookchums. Along with that users will also get access to an e-library of 50,000 books as well.
The My Class Buddy A 700 E offers cloud storage for the students to save their homework, projects and assignments. The cloud storage, provided by eNlight Space, is free for lifetime for the users of the tablet.
The My Class Buddy A 700 E is powered with an ARM Cortex-A8 1.0 GHz processor, running Android 4.0 (ICS) operating system. The tablet has a 7 inch capacitive multi touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered with Mali 400 GPU and has a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage memory which can be further expanded by 32 GB. The tablet comes with a 3600 mAh Li-ion Polymer battery pack and is a WiFionly device.
Amtrak has also launched another low cost tablet called the AmtrakMy Class Buddy - A 722G E. This tablet is powered with an ARM Cortex-A9 1.2 GHz processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. There is a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with multi-touch and 800 x 480 screen resolution, 0.3 megapixel front facing camera and 2 megapixel rear camera. It too has 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage along with a micro-SD slot that supports up to 32 GB extra storage.
The Amtrak My Class Buddy -A 722G E is a calling tab which comes with a dual-SIM 2G connectivity along with WiFi connectivity option. The My Class Buddy A700 E is priced at Rs 6,299 and will come with a complementary play-mate keyboard worth Rs 899 while the My Class Buddy A722G E is priced at Rs 6,499. Both the tablets will be made available across all leading stationary, telecom and IT shops across Rajasthan.
