Voxer group voice messaging app came to Windows Phone at the end of June, but the app is only part of Voxer’s offering.
Voxer is also a business communication platform, supported by two apps – Voxer Pro and Voxer Pro Business.
Those apps are not available on Windows Phone yet, but according to Voxer COO Itamar Kandel the apps are certainly on their way.
In an interview with VoIP specialist site TruTower when asked if the apps are coming to Windows Phone he said:
It will! We plan to launch Voxer Pro and Voxer Pro Business to Windows Phone 8 devices by the end of the year.
On iOS or Android Voxer Pro is $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year which brings features such as live interrupt mode and extreme notifications. Voxer Pro Business costs $9.95 a month per user and offers a variety of additional features specifically tailored to businesses, such as an admin portal, live map locations for different team members, and ownership over content and sent messages.
Having more enterprise apps on Windows Phone will allow companies to use Windows Phones as easily as iOS or Android in business, and open the door to BYOD for Windows Phone also.
