Among the bevy of new products that Samsung is rumored to introduce in its June 20 event in London is the first camera-phone from the Korean company. The Galaxy S4 Zoom has finally been caught on camera. While the front might look familiar, the back is a totally different story altogether.
Samsung is following a new strategy. With their undeniable milking of the Galaxy Brand by introducing phones left and right (to introducing multiple models sharing the name with the flagship devices), the new thing for Sammy is to introduce Galaxy S4 branded phones, almost half a dozen of them. Among them is one camera-phone dubbed the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Galaxy S4 Zoom Quick Specs:
- 1.6 GHz Dual-Core CPU
- 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED Display
- 16 MP Rear Camera With Optical Zoom
- 8 GB Internal Storage, Expandable Up To 64 GB
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
The Galaxy S4 Zoom leaked image looks a lot like the S4 Mini. That might be because 90% of the internal specifications are identical, save for the rear of the phone (which makes it unique in the first place). You can check out the TouchWIZ UI that the device will be sporting which looks no different from the one we have already seen on the Galaxy S4. Perhaps a revamped camera app (from the Galaxy Camera?) will come with the phone, allowing users to make the maximum of the hardware offered.
In any way, every unanswered question related to the device will be clear on June 20th (at least we hope so). Thankfully, that’s less than 2 weeks away.
