You have to hand it to Microsoft's marketing department. If it isn't coming up with a way to make Windows Phone look like the obvious smartphone choice among itself, iOS and Android, it is getting you to drop what you're doing in order todemo Windows Phone online. Now, if your job is to write about mobile devices like ours is, you're not giving up anything to demo Windows Phone online because that fits the job description. But if you're, say, an exterminator, Microsoft is going to need to entice you to demo its mobile OS.

So after a hard day lugging around that poison on your back, what does the Redmond based software giant need to do to get you to try out Windows Phone online? Would giving you a shot at $10,000 do the trick? Microsoft has made a contest out of demoing Windows Phone online. You can enter one time per day and there will be one Grand Prize Winner of $10,000 selected on July 1st, the day after the contest ends.

In addition to the $10,000, Microsoft is giving away some daily prizes. Three instant winners will get an Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars bundle valued at $449.99 each. There will be four instant win second prizes with each winner in that segment getting an Xbox 360 4 GB console valued at $299.99. There also will be eight hundred instant win third prizes, the game Halo Reach for Xbox 360 which has an estimated value of $29.99 each. More instant win prizes are up for grabs ranging from an Xbox Live points card with 1600 points on it, to the Xbox 360 game Kinect Sports.

Click on the sourcelink to start the contest. All you need to do is follow the blue dot as it teaches you how to navigate Windows Phone. And we might as well tell you that this contest is open to U.S. citizens only, 18 years old or older, who live in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. Good Luck!
