Some new pictures of Sony’s rumored Togari phablet are here today, as well as a name change. The Togari will in fact be named the Xperia ZU, and will feature a Galaxy Note like build without physical navigation keys.
The leaked pictures depict the white Xperia ZU, which keeps to the design aesthetics of the Xperia line. The back of the device has curved bezels, and an apparent soft plastic covering which helps the device fit comfortably in the hand.
Although official specs of the device are still absent, the Xperia ZU is expected to tout a 6.44-inch display with 1080p resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor running at 2.2GHz, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1..3MP front-facing shooter. The Xperia ZU is said to rock a magnesium-alloy frame and dual-SIM support, as well as a 3,000mAh battery. The device should come in two color options, black and white.
The Xperia ZU should be announced soon, possibly on June 25th.
