Xperia Z owners must already be jumping on their seats (hopefully not on their phones anymore) by the time they finish reading the title. Yes, Sony is officially rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean to their 1H 2013 flagship after the update went live for the compact Xperia ZL (alternate flagship as we call it) a few days ago.

The new update brings the usual goodies associated with the latest version of Android (Sony firmware version 10.3.A.0.423) including lockscreen widgets, quick toggles and much more. Sony has updated their STAMINA battery saving app as well as updated certain elements of the launcher and UI. Overall, the update will satisfy most users thoroughly.
