PS4: Specialty Game Retailer Game4u Starts Taking Pre Order in IndiaSpecialty game retailer Game4u has started taking pre-order for the PlayStation 4. In a press note, the retailer informs that consumers have to pay Rs.3000 in order to book the console in advance. The rest amount would be paid when the console gets launched in the market. However, neither the release date nor the price of the console was mentioned in the press release. This means Sony‘s next-gen console could arrive in the market this year. There was a  rumor going on that the PlayStation 4 has been delayed in India due to unknown reasons. With Game4u started taking pre-order  itself  means that PS4 is coming soon to woo gamers. Earlier this year, the Japanese giant Sony first unveiled PlayStation 4. Sony's last gen console - PS3 was successful, but it was not developer friendly. The console is rather based on PC architecture, making more developers to jump into console gaming. The PS4 packs 8GB of RAM, an 86X processor, enhanced GPU and unspecified hardware storage. The console comes with 500GB of inbuilt space. Unlike Microsoft's Xbox One which is heavily dependent on Internet and also stops use of second hand games. On the other hand, the Sony PS4 will support used games and does not require internet connection to play games. In the International market, PS4 is priced $100(Rs. 5,882) less than Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 is a redesigned console from scratch. It is not backward compatible with PS3 games. Sony has promised to connect PS4, PS3 and PS Vita with Gaikai cloud gaming service. Every PS4 game can be played on PS Vita via remote connectivity. At this year's E3 gaming conference, Sony unleashed at least 15 exclusives for the PS4.
