According to a recent report from Joystiq, Irrational Games is prepared to unveil information on BioShock: Infinite‘s upcoming DLC add-ons later in July.
Irrational hasn’t spoken out on if the DLC will be one of the content packs included in BioShock: Infinite’s Season Pass, which is now available on the retail market for $19.99 for all platforms. The Season Pass allows gamers to “get three all-new add-on packs at a discount”, confirming that there will be three DLC packs coming to the title.
The developers have also released BioShock: Infinite’s Columbia’s Finest DLC via Steam, which gives players access to the content previously only available to the premium editions of the game. The DLC isn’t so much an addition in terms of story elements, and instead gives players bonus in-game items.
A few months back, we discovered what appeared to be a list of placeholders for ten Steam achievements for the first of BioShock: Infinite’s three DLC’s, In any case, we’ll have to wait until July rolls around to hear more about BioShock’s DLC packs, and it will definitely be interesting to see how Irrational expands their already highly acclaimed title.
BioShock: Infinite is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. For more information please visit the game’s official website.
