ASUS’ recently revealed Windows 8 home entertainment PC was announced back at Computex and now there are some specs to go along with it.
For those who don’t remember, the ViVoPC Mini is a PC meant for streaming HD entertainment using its 802.11ac WiFi connection, but can also be used as your actual desktop computer. If you were wondering if it had what it takes to accomplish the latter then wait no longer. The Taiwanese company has finally shared some details on specs for the machine
- Unspecified Intel processor (likely Haswell)
- Up to 16GB of RAM
- HDD and SDD storage options
- 2 USB 3.0 ports and 4 USB 2.0 ports
- HDMI, VGI, Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi
- Integrated “SonicMaster” speakers
- Windows 8
There’s no word on pricing and availability as of now so if this is something that interests you, it’s time to play the waiting game.
