The HTC Butterfly S has been in the news recently as the rumored successor to the Droid DNA/Butterfly launched in 2012. Think of the Butterfly S as an incremental update to the 5-inch Smartphone, fitted with HTC’s spanking new UltraPixel camera and HTC BoomSound stereo speakers.
the Butterfly S packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset (sorry folks, it isn’t the 800), a 5.0-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) SLCD3 (Super LCD) display and a design which is evolutionary with respect to the Droid DNA (than revolutionary, like the HTC One). The leaked images show HTC’s new BlinkFeed in action, confirming that the device will run on Android 4.1/4.2 Jelly Bean at launch, skinned with Sense 5.0 UI. Note the excellent viewing angles of the device, boy are we (the eyes) in for a treat.
