Sony Xperia ZL Receives Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OTA Update, Adds Support for 64GB microSD

Sony Mobile has announced that the Xperia ZL device can be updated to Android 4.2.2 firmware version 10.3.A.0.423 starting today, making it is the first device that’s not Nexus-branded to receive the official OTA update to the latest Jelly Bean build.
As you know, there are other phones that are featuring the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but those phones have been shipped with it, which makes the Sony Xperia ZL somewhat special since it is the first phone to get the update via OTA.
10.3.A.0.423 Jelly Bean 4.2.2 official update for Xperia ZL brings improvements for the Sony Media applications, new widget functionality features for both your phone’s home screen and lock screen, it also bring support for 64GB microSD external storage cards, which might possibly be the best thing about this release.
